Keeping Christ in Christmas
Choose and depict in artform or dance
the Christmas story from
Luke 2:1-21 and/or Matthew 1:18 - 2:2

Criteria for Entries and Winning Entry Based on:
1) Originality/Creativity: Does artform appropriately reflect the Christmas story.
2) All artforms to be included in the same age category (i.e. art, dance, and Spoken Word entries in same category)
3) For art - Was color or lack of color appropriate.
4) Art entries - please use white typing paper.
(No larger than 8 1/2” X 11”)
5) On back of entry - write applicant’s name, age, and
number of entries on sticky note or paper with paper clip
6) Video entries can be uploaded online at: www.promotingjoyfund.com
7) $25 Awarded to Top Winner in each age category and 'Mary's Best in Show'
(Please do not assist your child with their artwork especially 16 months - 3 year olds - asking if you could give your child pencil/crayon and read the Christmas
Story to them)
8) Proceeds of contest help to support the bi-annual Art Contests
and PromotingJoy24/7 Scholarship Fund (promotingjoyfund.org)
